StatBroadcast to provide live stats for the Beach Ball Classic tournament

MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- StatBroadcast and the Beach Ball Classic announced today that the StatBroadcast Live stats system will be used for the 2014 Beach Ball Classic and 2014 Crescom Bank Holiday Invitational tournaments, both held this December in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Started in 1981, the Beach Ball Classic has evolved into the premier high school holiday tournament in the US, featuring 16 boys basketball teams from across the nation in four days of competition and featuring some of the best high school teams in the country. In 1998, the Beach Ball Classic Committee created a girls tournament held the week before Christmas, now know as the Crescom Bank Holiday Invitational, which also features 16 teams from across the country in four days of competition. Both tournaments are held in the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

Past Beach Ball Classic tournaments have featured many current and former NBA all-stars, including Vince Carter, Rasheed Wallace, Kobe Bryant and Raymond Felton.
