Fiesta Bowl renews partnership with BCS Stats

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. -- The Fiesta Bowl has renewed its partnership with BCS Stats Systems for the 2010-11 bowl season, marking the seventh consecutive year BCS Stats' will provide stat monitor services for the bowl game. BCS Stats is set to provide stat monitors and technical support at the three bowls hosted by the Fiesta Bowl this year: the Insight Bowl (Dec. 28, 2010), the Tostitos' Fiesta Bowl (Jan. 1, 2011) and the Tostitos' BCS National Championship Game (Jan. 10, 2011), BCS Stats' president Nate Policar announced today.

"This marks the eighth Fiesta Bowl game we will have been involved in, and we're pleased to continue our partnership with our longest-running client," said Policar. "The Fiesta Bowl is one of the largest events in the college sports world, and coupled with the Insight and BCS bowls this year, all eyes will be on Arizona in January. We're proud to be able to offer our services to the game."

The Fiesta Bowl is preparing to host its third BCS Championship game, the second under the current BCS format. It previously hosted the BCS Title game in 2007 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale and in 2003 (as the Fiesta Bowl) at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz. The Insight Bowl will be played at Sun Devil Stadium while the Fiesta Bowl and BCS Title Game will be played in Glendale. All three games will be nationally televised by ESPN. BCS Stats will provide its StatMonitr service and wireless screens for all three games, providing the national and world media with real-time stats feeds as they report live from the events.
